WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

This workshop blends traditional Tamil puppetry heritage with modern digital storytelling tools. Students are introduced to the history of puppetry and Bommalattam, while also learning through real shadow puppets inspired by cultural forms and museum-based references.

Working in teams, students plan a story, storyboard key scenes, and bring their ideas to life using digital puppetry tools such as PuppetMaster. The workshop combines culture, collaboration, imagination, and performance in an engaging format.
